This was our big Spring Event for 2010. We broke off in teams and tackled different areas. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with a bunch of people and the right tools. We brought out a couple weedwackers, rakes, brooms, snips, loppers, a lot of garbage bags and gloves.
We did a lot of promotion and talked to a lot of people in the neighborhood. I spent 2 days on my bike handing out fliers in target areas. Posters were up in local businesses, and we were all on the phone trying to get friends to show up.
