South Buffalo CREW (Concerned Residents Engaged in Work) will be hosting its second “Cash Mob” on November 6th
South Buffalo, NY – You may have heard of a “flash mob,” where dozens of people spontaneously break into song and dance.
Well this is a “cash mob,” where hundreds of concerned South Buffalo residents descend on one place to shop – all in support of a local business.
South Buffalo CREW (Concerned Residents Engaged in Work) will host its second “cash mob” on Nov. 6 to support a local home store while bringing together the South Buffalo community.
The CREW, a volunteer organization of active, concerned South Buffalo residents who are working to keep our area a great place to live, invites people from all over to come and shop at Habitat for Humanity’s Restore South store, 1675 South Park Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 6th.
People interested in home repairs and projects will find many items, from doors to windows to hard-to-find elements in refurbished historic homes.
Habitat for Humanity’s Restore will accept new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances, as well as donations. All proceeds are used to build homes, community and hope locally and around the world.
Refreshments will be provided by the South Buffalo CREW, which is in need of volunteers of all ages and time commitments. For more information, please contact Debi Coffee at 823-1961. Information can also be found online at www.southbuffalocrew.com, or on Facebook: South Buffalo CREW.
